Location
The hotel is in trendy NoMad, formerly known as the Garment District. You're surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars, including deli Bread and Butter, and Korean restaurant Her Name is Han.
There's a good choice of subway lines nearby, to explore the rest of the ciy.
By plane: London, Manchester or Edinburgh to New York takes 7 hours, after which, a taxi takes 35 minutes. Parking costs $81 per day. Book flights to New York.
Style
The décor is pretty minimalist, but the addition of modern, colourful artworks brightens the hotel up. The public spaces encourage interaction, while the young clientele ensures a buzzing atmosphere.
Service & Facilities
Facilities are minimalist, in keeping with the hotel's design. Snacks can be bought at the lobby store, rather than there being room service. There isn't a gym, but guests can have a free pass to a sports club around the block. On the whole, service is friendly.
