Location

In the heart of the New Forest you'll find Daisybank, set back from a busy road in a peaceful location. It's a great starting point for many woodland walks.

It's a 10-minute walk from Brockehurst which offers connecting trains to London in easy reach.

By car: 1 hour 45 minutes from Oxford, 2 hours from London and 3 hours from Birmingham. Free on-site parking available.

By train: London Waterloo to Brockenhurst takes 1 hour 30 minutes, after which, it's a 20-minute walk (or 4-minute taxi) to the hotel. Book trains to Brockenhurst.

Style & Character

This Arts and Crafts-style cottage was built in the early 1900s and retains its high ceilings and large windows. It's been thoughtfully decorated with every piece of furniture and accessory carefully chosen, and has the feel of a boutique hotel.

Service & Facilities

There aren't too many facilities but the attraction is the glorious location. Welcoming owners Cheryl and Ciaran have lived in the house for over 30 years and their local knowledge is invaluable. There are charging points for electric cars.

Bedrooms

Main house rooms are traditional and characterful, while the suites in the garden are stylish and modern. In the summer you can even stay in a gorgeous shepherd's hut. Rooms have a boutique feel and feature local artworks on the walls.

Exceptional breakfasts showcase local produce and are lovingly prepared. The menu caters to a variety of tastes, from traditional English or Irish breakfasts (and their vegan equivalents) to healthy options like homemade granola, kefir and kombucha. The gluten-free pancakes were delicious, as was the granola and locally made jams.

Breakfast: a feast of locally sourced produce, served daily between 8:30-9:30am in the breakfast room or in-room.
