Equidistant between Oxford Street and Piccadilly and overlooking the great expanse of Hyde Park, this hotel is on the edge of posh Mayfair. Although Park Lane itself is a busy road, you don't hear the traffic once you are in the hotel.

Several buses run from outside the hotel or you can access the tube at Hyde Park Corner or Marble Arch.

By car: around 4 hours from Manchester, and less than 2 hours 30 minutes from Bristol. On-site parking costs £42 per day.

By train: Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner tube stations are a 10-minute walk. Paddington station is a 10-minute taxi ride. Book trains to London.

Style & Character

The Art Deco reception rooms are softened by Murano glass light fittings and butterflies in cloches among the period decorative items. The attractive Park Room has emerald green buttoned velvet sofas, with seasonal (and large) floral arrangements.

Service & Facilities

The service in the JW Steakhouse was execeptional - the staff can make excellent wine recommendations and really know the menu. A range of facilities includes a coffee shop, hair salon, jewellry shop and gym.

Restaurants & Bars

Excellent steaks are served in the JW Steakhouse, paired with a wine list of hearty reds. The 300+ single barrel and small batch Bourbons are a talking point. Afternoon teas in the Park Room are accompanied by a live pianist. We loved the tuna tartare starter, with a creamed avocado topping and a parmesan crisp.

JW Steakhouse: steak and seafood restraurant. All-day dining, open daily (hours vary).

Park Room: lounge serving afternoon tea and drinks. Open daily 9am-10pm.
