The city centre is a short stroll away: you can be at the Roman Baths in five minutes and the train station in a little over ten minutes.

By car: around 45 minutes from Bristol, 2 hours 30 minutes from London and 3 hours 30 minutes from Manchester. On-site parking costs £12 per day.

By train: there are direct services to Bath Spa from Bristol Temple Meads (11 minutes), Cardiff Central (1 hour 5 minutes) and London Paddington (1 hour 15 minutes). The hotel is around a 12-minute walk from Bath Spa station. Book trains to Bath Spa.

The communal areas and most bedrooms have recently undergone a comprehensive makeover, embracing a sophisticated Art Deco style. Original Georgian elements, including sash windows and marble fireplaces, impart abundant character.

As a member of Radisson Individuals, Henrietta House leverages Radisson's global reach to enhance visibility for independent hotels. Led by General Manager Stefanel Vieru, the staff, while friendly and capable, may not offer the same personalized experience as many of Bath's independent B&Bs.

"Boutique wing" bedrooms have undergone a recent redesign, adopting a sleek Art Deco style with integrated mirrors, silvery grey leather headboards, sophisticated lighting and chic bathrooms. Bedrooms in the "traditional wing" lack the same appeal and are in need of refurbishment.

Indulge in a wide choice for breakfast, from French pastries to a full English and omelettes. Our full English - free-range fried eggs, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms - was a sizeable plateful that kept us going for much of the day.
