Style

The ground floor pub has aged bare wooden floors, green wood panelling, tables and a pool table - giving the appearance of a typical high street pub. Upstairs, the guest accommodation has a completely different feel, with bright, modern ensuite bathrooms and attractive bedrooms, where care has been put into the styling.

Service & Facilities

With tailor-made luxury beds with pocket-sprung mattresses, Egyptian cotton sheets, duck-down duvets and pillows, the bedrooms have high-quality features. Whilst bathrooms offer drench showers, under-floor heating and nice bathroom products.

Bedrooms

Room one is the biggest and all three of the rooms are comfortably appointed, with king-sized beds, stripped wooden floors, well-chosen artwork, exposed beams and antique furniture, and two guest-rooms have kitchenettes and dining areas. Bathrooms offer drench showers, under-floor heating and nice bathroom products.

Room types: Room 1, Room 2, Room 3

Key amenities: ensuite bathroom, TV, tea and coffee facilities, free Wi-Fi

Restaurants & Bars

With exposed brick and stone walls and both wooden and zinc-topped tables, the attractive restaurant boasts bundles of character, offering pub classics and more unusual chef specials. We love the wide use of fresh ingredients: for example, the daily catch used for the fish and chips. The pub breakfast is at sister business Byford B&B across the road.

Restaurant: hearty gastropub food. Open daily for lunch and dinner. Mains from £13.50.

Bar: locally sourced beers from the Norfolk Brewhouse.
