You're opposite cultural hotspot Somerset House, and the shops and theatres of Covent Garden and Drury Lane just a few minutes' walk. Head across Waterloo Bridge to visit the Southbank or perhaps continue along to Bankside and Tate Modern.

The hotel sits on the corner of Alwych where it meets the Strand.

By car: around 2 hours from Brighton, 2 hours 30 mins from Bristol and 4 hours from Manchester. On-site parking costs £49 per day.

By train: there are direct trains to London Waterloo from Salisbury (1 hour 30 mins), Portsmouth (1 hour 30 mins) and Exeter (3 hours 15 mins). The hotel is a five-minute taxi ride from the station. Book trains to London.
