Location
The Midland is on Peter Street in the city centre and you're within walking distance of Manchester Central Convention Complex, Bridgewater Hall and the impressive neo-gothic Town Hall. Visit Mrs Sarah's Chophouse on Cross Street - this Victorian pub first opened in 1867.
Transport links include the Central Library and St Peter's Square Metrolink stops (opposite the hotel). Within a 10-minute walk, you'll find Oxford Road station and the buses and trams in Piccadilly Gardens.
By car: around 2 hours from Nottingham and over 4 hours from London. Free parking available nearby.
By train: London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly takes around 2 hours, after which, it's a five-minute taxi (or 15-minute walk) to the hotel. Book trains to Manchester.
