MORE INFORMATION

Location

The hotel is in an excellent location, overlooking Madison Square Park and near both the Flatiron building and lively Union Square. We loved our visit to the Old Town Bar, an historic bar reminiscent of an old characterful UK pub.

The 23rd Street subway station is nearby, with others not much further. You're in a good base for exploring the Chelsea, Gramercy and Garment districts.

By plane: London, Manchester or Edinburgh to New York takes 7 hours, after which, a taxi takes 30 minutes. On-site parking costs $83 per day. Book flights to New York.

Style

Built in 1909, the hotel is located in the iconic Met Life building. The décor is mainly neutral with a modern feel - although there are more splashes of colour in the restaurant's furnishings. The lobby and lounge area is large and minimalist.
