Style

Originally established as a seamen's mission in 1889, this charming boutique townhouse has undergone a delicate redesign. Juxtaposing with the traditional architectural elements, the interiors feature natural materials like oak wood, complemented by a soothing tonal scheme of pale blue and grey hues and coastal scenery beyond.

Restaurants & Bars

Head chef Richard Massey's seasonal menu uses native ingredients such as West Country beef, Cornish cheeses, Fowey River mussels and local scallops and there's a well-crafted cocktail menu to kick off or round up your evening. The attention-to-detail in contemporary surrounds won us over; think low lighting and distressed wood, fused with polished floors, all to a backdrop of estuary views.

The restaurant: relaxed dining, West Country produce, fresh seafood, seasonal, contemporary dishes, cocktails. Open every day for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Lunch mains from £16, two-course dinner £37.50, five courses £45.
