Location

The charming fishing town of Padstow boasts several foodie hotspots, not least Paul Ainsworth's very own Michelin-starred No. 6 and Italian-inspired Café Rojano.

​Set on a quiet hillside in Padstow's old town, you'll be away from the holidaying hordes.

By train: London to Bodmin Parkway takes under 4 hours, after which, it's a 35-minute taxi to the hotel. Book trains to Bodmin Parkway.

By car: 3 hours from Bristol, 4 hours from Birmingham and 5 hours from London. Free on-site parking available.

Style

With its ivy-clad stone exterior, this 18th-century townhouse is unique. The interiors were designed by Paul's wife Emma and Eve Cullen-Cornes, with luxe fabrics, handmade restored furniture and limited-edition artworks by Magnus Gjoen.

There are six uniquely-decorated suites, all named after traditional British sweets. You'll find home comforts as well as some little surprises. All suites offer free tea and coffee and well-stocked mini-bar, and come with indulgent bathrooms.
