Location
Located on Clearwell's high street, the Tudor Farmhouse is spread over several buildings, with pretty gardens and a big car park. It's surrounded by meadows.
Take a walk around the village and you'll find pretty cottages. Nearby attractions include Clearwell Caves and Tintern Abbey.
By car: under an hour from Bristol, 1 hour 30 minutes from Birmingham and 3 hours from London. Free on-site parking available.
By train: London to Chepstow takes 2 hours 30 minutes, after which, taxi takes 20 minutes. Book trains to Chepstow.
Style
Formerly farm buildings and a smaller B&B, the Tudor Farmhouse is now a luxurious yet laid-back bolthole. Its traditional country character has been retained through period features such as low ceilings and wooden beams, but it also has fresh décor with modern amenities.

We recommend the succulent roast beef Sunday lunch and charcuterie boards of local meats, while the afternoon tea is ideal for the savoury-toothed - sandwiches, wild sausage roll, cheese and onion foggy, cheese scone and a brownie.
Restaurant: modern British cuisine, locally sourced ingredients. Dishes include lamb rump, pork tenderloin and torched halibut. Open daily for breakfast, afternoon tea and grazing, and dinner. Sunday lunch served 12-2pm.
