Location
This is a great location for exploring the southern end of Lake Garda. The hotel is in an idyllic spot, amongst 32 acres of olive groves and fruit orchards.
It's 2.5km from Salò, and boats regularly serve destinations around the lake.
By plane: London to Verona takes just over 2 hours, after which, it's a 45-minute drive to the hotel. Free on-site parking available. Book flights to Verona.
Style
Originally a covent dating back to the 14th Century, the Italian-Finnish owners have beautifully restored the building - and their personal collection of antiques and artworks are displayed throughout the hotel. There's a calm and refined, yet informal and relaxed atmosphere.
Service & Facilities
The swimming pool is a delightful spot to unwind with a lake view; there's also the Finnish sauna, yoga studio and panoramic fitness trail. Guests can also borrow bikes. Finnish owner Jaana is often at reception to greet guests; staff are professional and attentive, without being intrusive.
