By train: Glasgow Queens Street to Edinburgh Waverley takes around 50 minutes, it's 3 hours from Manchester Piccadilly and 4 hours 45 minutes from London Kings Cross - after which, it's an 8-minute walk to the hotel. Book trains to Edinburgh.

This historic building has a beautiful restored glass dome and Victorian pine panelling in the Commons Club. As soon as it's 5pm, the lights go down and the music pumps up.
