Style

There's a pleasingly simple use of space here, which evokes Japanese principles, and works well without sacrificing comfort. The building's industrial past shines through in the exposed brickwork, beams and distressed tiles - there's a relaxed metro/retro/chic feel that makes it a good choice for those that appreciate excellent design.

Service & Facilities

Given the prices, you wouldn't - and shouldn't - expect services you'd find in pricier hotels. There's no room or laundry service but reception is covered 24 hours and staff are delightfully welcoming and helpful.

  • Café bar
  • Free Wi-Fi

Bedrooms

Rooms are well-designed with a clean, simple look - all you need albeit in a small space. Bijou bathrooms with partially frosted glass walls but big showers are built into the room, and basic toiletries are provided. Beds and lighting are good, and there's a kettle and a decent hairdryer.

Room types: Z Inside Single, Z Inside Double, Z Double, Z Queen, Z Accessible

Key amenities: ensuite bathroom with toiletries, tea and coffee facilities, underbed storage, TV, free Wi-Fi

Restaurants & Bars

Reception doubles as a bar and mini café serving snacks like pizza, potato wedges and bacon rolls; it's a useful spot if you arrive late or want a quick drink and a bite to eat before heading out. There's a breakfast buffet too, with granola and toppings, pastries, bread and spreads, porridge and cereal, and bacon or veggie rolls.

Café & Bar: all-day menu, open daily serving buffet breakfast, snacks and light bites. Free wine and cheese served daily, 5-8pm.
